Hopital Sacre Coeur

Lebanon continues to fight through the most difficult timeline throughout its history. We, at the Sacred Heart Hospital, are insistent in our efforts to meet the healthcare needs of our hospital personnel and the community. But the situation is still alarming! Food insecurity is increasing. Parents are unable to buy milk for their children, even if it is available. We have already gotten some underweight and malnourished children in the pediatric ward, mostly because of the milk problem.

Thus we are calling our sisters and brothers in humanity for a gift of love.  We just want to be able to assure basic nutritional needs, to obtain the medicine and health care services needed, and to send our children to school.

The shortage of funds has left us unable to meet the necessities of the HSC family. Yet our personnel have been faithful and devoted to their work, fighting with us to overcome the economic obstacles we all face

We are now in “survival mode”, meaning that this call is temporary, as we live in hope that we will once again be provided with electricity, fuel, gasoline and funding that can keep up with the inflationary price increases.
Please join our efforts: contributions do not need to be large: in fact, smaller contributions on a regular monthly basis will help more than 400 families in this period of waiting things out!
Feast of St Vincent de Paul: 27 September 2021. Staff members gathered for a luncheon feast—of lentil soup, served by St Vincent himself.
